What day trips are available from Vienna?

Nine private day trips are currently offered: the Wachau Valley, Hallstatt, Salzburg, Bratislava, Budapest, Prague, the Mauthausen Memorial, Brno and Passau. A fully customized or multi-day itinerary can also be arranged.

How long do private day trips from Vienna take?

It depends on the destination. The Wachau Valley, Bratislava and the Mauthausen Memorial are the shortest, at around 6 to 7 hours. Hallstatt, Salzburg, Budapest, Brno and Passau run closer to 7 to 10 hours. Prague is the longest, at 12 to 14 hours, since it is the furthest destination offered as a same-day trip.

Is the chauffeur also a tour guide?

No. The chauffeur manages transportation, route and waiting time, not guided sightseeing. A licensed tour guide can be arranged separately on request for any of these trips.

Can two destinations be combined in one day trip?

Some combinations are possible, such as the Wachau Valley and Salzburg, or Hallstatt and St. Wolfgang. Since this changes the standard itinerary, it's best arranged as a custom journey rather than the standard version of either day trip.

What's included in the price of a day trip?

A private Mercedes-Benz vehicle, a professional English-speaking chauffeur, door-to-door pickup and return in Vienna, chauffeur waiting time, fuel and motorway tolls, and complimentary bottled water. Attraction tickets, meals and a licensed guide are not included.
